In 2016 alone, attackers successfully pulled off nearly 300 corporate data breaches involving 3.3 million known records—and likely millions more unknown records.

But even as security teams bolster their security monitoring capabilities, they’re still unable to stem the tide of attacks. Unfortunately, the more information that organizations collect about activity on their systems, the more data their analysts must sift through, and there just isn’t enough time to attend to all of their security alerts.
