Industry Leadership for Improved Security
The NSS Labs Advisory Group provides market participants with a forum for advancing the industry. We are interested in your experiences and needs: whether you are an information security professional who buys and uses technology, a security product vendor, an auditor, regulator or consultant. As a participant you'll be able to review and comment on new requirements and standards.
Special Advisory Groups exist for the following participants:

• Merchants and Service Providers (PCI)
• Assessors, auditors and consultants (PCI)
• Card Brands and Banks (PCI)
How it works
NSS Labs openly publishes its test criteria for review, and updates its product certification standards in tune with the market, roughly every 12 to 18 months. Participants will receive notification when a technology category is being reviewed, and input on requirements and technology are being accepted from the various advisory groups.

How to Join
Participation in NSS Labs Advisory Groups limited to qualified information security professionals and vendors, and is by invitation only. Invited participants are required to sign a simple non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and there is no cost to participate. Communications occur primarily via email, web-based surveys, and occasional teleconference briefings.
